Going solo
Pussycat Doll and hot tip to sit in one of the judges chairs alongside Simon Cowell on American X Factor when it begins next year has released her new single Poison, accompanied by a rather saucy video (see below).
The sub-pop-dance number has an upbeat hook and anthemic wall of sound holding the track together and is sure to do well in the charts when it is released.
The song comes after a long struggle to get her solo music career off the ground following a forever delayed release of Her Name is Nicole and album that was intended to hit the shelves in 2008, but for various reasons never quite got there.
Nicole has been the featured artist on several tracks in the past, but I’m sure will be hoping this new song, and a new album to follow will see her solo career begin to flourish in earnest.
The video has a superhero theme and features Ms. Sherzinger strutting her stuff in a PVC catsuit … which is sure to add extra value to the product for many of her adolescent male fans.
