Well, the weather has taken a turn for the better and the sun is beginning to set over Hyde Park in the heart of London … the scene is perfect for what promises to be a rioutous performance from Pink in just a few minutes time.
We’ve just had The Ting Tings on the main stage, and they meant business.
Katie White had just one request for the crowd at the beginning of The Ting Tings’s set: “as long as you f*cking dance.”
And as the sun finally began to emerge from behind the clouds, and with the tuborg flowing, dance they finally did – at least, for the opener of Great DJ.
Then, to be honest, the band seemed to lose the crowd for a while, probably not least because of a tinny sound (unusual for this event) which at times made it tough to hear Katie White’s voice … but hey, maybe everyone is just saving a little bit of energy for later?
They brought it home however with their most popular, if a little predictable and familar, hits. After Shut Up and Let Me Go, and the finale That’s Not My Name, the crowd was well and truly primed and ready for the main attraction …
Here we go!

They really need to release new stuff soon, they said they had nearly finished the album ages ago and need to update their website. Still love them though
