Sod it, kick back and watch the Chilean miners rescue live on Sky News. It’s not like there’s anything in the papers to read today.

Can’t move from the telly! Am glued to this rescue and a teary mess!! Sky are doing an incredible job keeping us constantly informed!
What’s interesting, though, is that coverage of the rescue has turned into something akin to a sporting event, with the Chileans showing just as much mastery of 24 hour news nonsense as us Brits. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying the underground camera shots, and indeed the general rescue coverage, which frankly should overrule all other news, eg Liverpool sale/Post Office sale/aircraft carrier sale or whatever else is going on.
But, in the spirit of pointless graphics, Sky News did a fine job with this one from at least two hours before the first of the miners hit the surface, and the media frenzy (which probably drives you madder than spending 69 days underground). Here we go -
