Series seven of the X Factor starts this Saturday, and how better to celebrate another year of good, bad and ugly singing talent than taking a sneak peak at what two of the most flamboyant entrants from last year are up to.
Jedward: Let Loose is an ITV2 observational documentary which follows the fortunes of the teenage Grimes twins as they leave home for the first time and set up on their own in a swanky new Dublin apartment.
After meeting the boys a few months back, I thought they were quite sensible, but from the looks of this show their domestic common sense certainly hasn’t developed as quickly as their media personas.
As well as following the boys around as the fulfil their busy days of recording and promoting, the show promises to take a look back at John and Edward’s time on the X Factor as well as revealing more about Edward’s collapse at the T4 On The Beach gig this summer.
“We are so excited that we have our own show,” said the boys. “People find it hard to define us and hopefully the show will give viewers and our fans an insight in to our world during a really exciting point in our lives launching our debut album.”
We here at the Beehive love to give you what you want, so we’ve managed to get our hands on a new clip from the kind people at ITV. Here we see what happens when two 18-year-old pop stars have a problem with a fridge …
Enjoy!
Jedward: Let Loose begins on Tuesday August 24th at 9pm on ITV2
