I remember reading somewhere recently that Nicki Minaj is one of the most popular search engine terms for musicians at the moment – unfortunately, I can’t remeber where I read that and if the source was credible … so I’m not sure why I just told you that?
Anyway, after receiving heavy US airplay when the song was included on her Barbie World mixtape, Your Love peaked at number 18 in the US Billboard Charts recently and so it was only a matter of time before a video followed – personally I would have done it the other way around … but hey, what do I know about all this?
The video has just come off the presses and of course we here at the Beehive weren’t going to let you down, so we got our hands on a copy as soon as we could.
The tune comes from the new (as yet untitled album) from the American rapper / songstress which is dues to be released on November 23rd 2010.
Apparently the video was filmed over the Independence Day (4th July) weekend, so perhaps that’s why it’s got such a happy feel to it … and didn’t they edit it fast …
