X Factor 2010: Mary Byrne & Rebecca Ferguson in bottom 2 says poll

The end of the road for ...?

Mary Byrne and Rebecca Ferguson may find themselves in the bottom two when the X Factor semi-final results are announced this evening, according to data supplied to the Beehive by the X Factor Predictor application on Facebook.

The app, developed by bappz polled more than 5,000 active users asking them who they wanted to save this week, the same question that phone voters are asked when they call into the premium rate numbers advertised on ITV, the result, rather bleak news for Irish Tesco checkout lady Mary Byrne.

With several hours left for voting, Mary has currently only secured 9 per cent of the vote in the poll, leaving her bottom by some way.  If this trend were reflected in the public vote (and the predictor has been right in previous weeks), Mary could be in serious trouble.

Second from bottom is Liverpudlian songstress Rebecca Ferguson, who has currently only received 15 per cent of the vote.

Next is Cher Lloyd, the 17-year-old rapper with an attitude … according to the poll she has currently got 18 per of the vote, but allowing for a margin of error, she too could still end up bottom of the pack if the tide changes slightly in the final hours of voting.

However, it’s tight at the bottom, because One Direction have only got 19 per cent, a slim lead over Cher and not a great deal on Rebecca … in real terms, any of the four could drop into the danger zone before the evening is out.

Clearly in no trouble is Matt Cardle, polling 39 per cent of the vote, and looking like he’s sailing along to take the X Factor 2010 crown.

So, who will go?

Not long to wait now.

Rebecca is so so boring. Every song sounds the same and even when she did an uptempo song ahe stood there like a wooden post.
Maybe it’s Cheryl’s fault for not letting us see her personality if she has one, but for what I can see she’s dull and is the most boring person ever on X Factor.
I hope One Dirction or Matt wins. Anyone but boring Rebecca really!

Rebecca is soo boring – granted she has an outstanding voice – but please :

    -Talk about zero entertainment
-Repetitive indistinguishable from one song to another
(even when the music pushes to change style)
    -No crowd connection whatsoever
    -Hardly anything close to exciting

Matt is the ONLY one with “that” level of quality voice and stage presence…
So, easy choice – voting for Matt and always expecting something goose bump inducing from the fella.

But when was this poll and the votes compiled? Was it just last night or during the week? Last night’s live show would make a massive change as Rebecca was the best with both songs by a mile. If she gets through and varies her stuff like last night, she could pick up votes from all over the place and win.

I would like to vote for Rebecca to win The X factor.
